Hi there,

I never read anything about sponsorship so I really have no clue what it's for and how it works.

I know I can get information on the CIC website but I would like to know if there have been a lot of changes in the (recent) past and how chances are that there will be a lot of changes in the (near) future.

Am I actually able to sponsor my grown up (step-) kids?

I mean I don't know if that does even make sense in our case. Maybe they could get another visa....like the way we did (PNP BC). Still I'd like to know a bit more.

Thanks guys

If they are 19 years old or older, then you cannot sponsor them.

They will have to qualify for PR on their own through an economic immigration program like Express Entry or the Provincial Nominee program. As you know, information about these immigration programs is available on the CIC web site. However if you want assistance researching the options, then you should hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to assist you.

Thank you!

Well even though it's been a while since I managed to handle the BC PNP process myself I'm sure I just need to dive back in.
Good to know what the options are.

:)
