Hello everybody.

I am a Croatian citizen and I am applying for a student visa later this week. I have a question. My grandmother is going to finance my studies and life abroad. Which solution would be better - should I submit her bank statement (enough funds and steady for a lot of years) and a letter in which she states that she is going to finance my studies - or should I transfer the funds on my account and have a new account with the new amount ?

Thank you

Mate......

you must transfer your tuition fee+room and board to your personal account.
and send her bank statement along with your Apss too.

Yeah an affidavit of support is incumbent.

Thank you for the reply.

One more thing. Should we get her bank statement before or after the transfer to my new account ?

see, when you are going to apply.
if you are going to apply in coming few days.

get her BS before transferring credit to your account.

Hey are you going to pay tuition in advance?

If yeas, pay tuition from your bank account.

I have already payed for the half of the tuition amount. That was necessary to secure my seat at the college. And I paid it from my account. So we are going to get her bank statement before the transfer, then we'll transfer the 10k/per year + the rest of tuition on my account with which I paid for the first half of tuition . And then get my bank statement with the new funds. And ofcourse the affidavit of support.

Would that be the right procedure ?

cool...

that's sounds logical....

well since your grandparents are your sponsor...in my case i am gonna sponsor my studies on my own. in Pakistan we need to show 4 months old Bank Statement so on Nov 5 I am gonna apply for Visa.

Wish you success..:)
