Hi. Im from mississauga and has a permanent residency since March 2016 as family immigrant where my ex-wife was the principal applicant. I would like to ask my case in relation to sponsoring my filipina girlfriend in italy here in canada who is married but not legally separated from her filipino husband for 1 and a half year due to concubinage. She have 2 minor kids. Me and my ex-wife got separated last january 2019 and is living by myself since then. Me and my ex wife have signed a separation agreement and dont have any conjugal properties and we agreed the financial assistance for my 15yr old daughter who is living with her. Is it possible that I can sponsor my girlfriend and what actions should i do to get them here in canada? Thanks in advance for the answer. God bless.

I'm assuming you are asking about conjugal sponsorship. What immigration or legal barriers prevent you from living together in Italy? Can she divorce in Italy? Has she applied for a TRV to Canada? You need to be together at least one year to qualify for conjugal.
We met in the philippines last September and stayed together for 2 weeks. We started our relationship thru social media via video call everyday. I'm also planning to go and meet her again in her residence in italy for 3 weeks next year..and I'm just waiting for the required 1 year for me to be able to apply for my divorce with my ex-wife. So is it possible that i can apply for conjugal sponsorship eventhough we have a lot of proofs like pictures, emails, letters, delivery receipts, money transfer that our relationship is genuine..
And i tried to sponsor her last march 2019 to come and visit me here but was denied by the consulate in italy though she is a permanent resident for 18 years and living with her kids and at the same time she owns a house and work as full time there.
