Hello.

How do I prepare the documents of my and my common-law partner's children? Should they be individual principal sponsors or have the eldest as the principal sponsor and the rest as accompanying.

Please help.

Your previous posts state that you are married and came from Saudi Arabia. Not your wife's children? Were these children declared in your PR app?

I cannot see my previous post, but i may have used the term wife instead of common-law partner as it is shorter and easier to type on a phone. However, she's the same person and it is her children.

Both our children were declared in our application but as non-accompanying. We did that as we wanted to settle first before we bring in our kids.

Each child is an individual Principal Applicant. They cannot be listed as accompanying each other. You need a set of PA forms/docs for each. You only need one set of sponsor forms/docs. It all gets sent together.

oh ok. that answers my question. a related question though.
what is the financial requirement for sponsoring? or can you please point me to a resource. Like in our application before, we were supposed to demonstrate that we have enough money when we move to Canada. There was like a table where it shows $10k for the principal applicant and $3k+ per dependent.

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor. You need to show that you can support yourselves in Canada without welfare.
