sponsoring a work permit of a foreign worker

can anyone give information on the process of WP sponsor as a PR.
-LMO, etc. does it need lawyer or can be done by the PR holder?
what documentation is needed to get LMO approval?

thanks....how long it takes for lmo approval? do monster.ca posting work? what other proof is required that the effort was made to search for canadians with the same skills?

LMOs seem to be taking a few weeks to a few months.

A monster.ca posting is good. The job should be posted to the Canadian Job Bank as well.
