My wife is here on a student visa. She has finished her classes, but not her co-op term and no longer works. She is planning to drive trucks with me and does not wish to finish her college program. I am going to sponsor her for her PR. Does she need a letter from college in order to apply for an open work permit?

Not enough info.

What is your status in Canada? Foreign worker? Citizen? PR?

Has she been granted a degree or diploma for finishing her program? Or does she need to complete the co-op in order to be granted the degree/diploma?

I am a Canadian Citizen and she's here as a student in college. She has a student visa and a study permit. She finished the in class portion of her course but not her co-op. Co-op is mandatory for graduation. She wants to become a truck driver and drive team with me.

You can sponsor your wife inland and apply for an OWP that takes 4 months

Agreed with the above.

I would add that you want to make sure the application is submitted before 90 days passes from the time she stops attending school. After 90 days, her study permit will be automatically canceled and she will be out of status in Canada (unless you submit the inland application with the OWP).

I am new to this forum. However, I am having trouble with a representative I hired to submit application for permanent residence. I found out from CIC that my application was never submitted. The representative lied that it was submitted on paper and gave me FedEx tracking number. I want my money back but I am not sure how to go about getting it.
