We're going to need a whole lot more information about the exact circumstances before anyone can respond. Generally however, Conjugal Partner applications are the exception and have strict preconditions...
Remember that conjugal sponsorship has very strict requirements that you must meet completely. When I first joined this forum I thought I was able to sponsor conjugal but after reading tons of responses I realized we needed to get married. Make sure you do your research first and make sure you are definitely eligible for conjugal.
Hi, zardoz and Mar1219 thank you for your reply. My partner and I been in a relationship for more than 7 years but we didn't leave together since we both working abroad. We are both came from the Philippines and we are a same-sex relationship. We bought a parcel of land and planning to open a joint bank account. Can you please give me some insight into what suppose we are going to do? Do I need to apply for her a TRV? Thank you.
Can you clarify where each of your are currently living and your status in that country? If you are living in Canada your partner could apply for a TRV, come to Canada and you could get married. If the TRV gets denied, Im not sure if that would be a good reason to apply conjugal. Sometimes they expect you to travel to a third country to get married. Does anyone else have better insight on this?
Have a look at this thread, where it states that there is no chance conjugal will be accepted if there was no attempt at a TRV. It needs to be denied to show she is unable to enter Canada, that would be considered an immigration barrier.
