Sponsor visiting while waiting on application?

My soon to be wife plans on sponsoring me later in June while I stay in the US. While we wait on the application is it okay for her to still visit me? All visits would be 1-2 weeks max with return tic

Is she a PR or a citizen? If she is a PR, how OFTEN will these 1-2 weeks visits be? Coz if the majority of her time will be spent outside Canada, then she still would not be a resident. If she is a citizen, she can stay outside Canada but MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE you and her will be moving to Canada as soon as you get your approval.

Yeah she’s a CAD citizen. The visits would only be around every 5-6 months for two weeks at a time

like I said, as a citizen, she can even live outside Canada.
