Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
My wife and I are living in Thailand now and want to move to Canada. I would like to Sponsor her for permanent residence. The only thing that really worries us is the income. Neither of us is working but we have money in Thailand in a joint account, we have money in Canada under my name and my wife has land, a house and a car here in Thailand under her name. Our cash on hand will be in the tens of thousands, so we shouldn't have any financial issues in Canada.
I worked for the last two years in Thailand as a teacher and my wife studied for most of that time. But at this time, we've decided to take a break and would like to do the immigration process now while we're free. Neither of us plans to work until we arrive in Canada.
Is our unemployment a problem in the application?
