Yes, that is no problem. He is residing in Canada and only leaving for a very short time in order to do his work.

Hey wesker,

if you are sponsoring outland ( which I suppose is the case), and you are Canadian, you can leave the country.
If you are PR, you are allowed short trips abroad as long as it is clear that you are returning - so 6 days business trip should be ok.
