hello everyone
My wife is a Canadian by birth and we got married in Sep 2011. She is living here in Pakistan since 2001 but in April 2012 she went to Vancouver and gave birth to our son and we applied for my immigration in March 2013 from Pakistan and file arrived from Mississauga to Islamabad in April 2013. Can anyone advice me is it necessary for my wife to live in Canada during the entire course of immigration process and what are the repercussions if she stays with me in Pakistan till my approval.

Hi she doesn't have too however she need to give proof that she will go to canada when you be come a PR

what sort of proof we can provide? As she doesn't have any past job experience so Job Offer is not possible, mortgage or buying a house is also not possible. Can you specify what sort of proof we need to give them?

She need to write a separate later explaining why she cannot give any proof and give her word that she will go back to canada (because he is the only reason you stayed outside canada???) Once he has his PR status you will obviously follow him etc... You have to make a solid argument. I hope this will help
