I applied online for a temporary resident visa on start of August 2017 to attend a wedding ceremony, currently my CIC account showing the status "Submitted". Unfortunately my sponsor letter has been expiring tomorrow. There is no any e-mail pertaining to decision has been received yes. Is anyone guide that will i get the visa or there isn't any chance and what should i do in this situation or just wait and watch (as usual).

IRCC's visa decisions are normally not made based on the intended travel dates or event dates. You'll get a TRV decision even if you're unable to attend the wedding ceremony

means i have the chance to get the visa.
Yes, you still have a chance to be approved. Hopefully you would have also included other reasons to visit such as wanting to meet/spend time with your host and his/her family, or for sightseeing, etc

Dear Bryanna Thanks for your reply.
have you any idea that How much time has IRCC require to make the decision specially for the application which submitted from Pakistan n is there any need to include something in purpose of visit means want to spend some time with the host or like this while the online status of my application is "submitted".
Again thanks for your advice

It's not possible to say how long it could take to get a decision in your case. Also, sometimes applications from Pakistan/Pakistan nationals go through background checks which means the estimated processing times posted on the IRCC website don't apply.

The visa office may/may not accept any additional documents as you have already applied. In case you have certain critical documents/evidence then you can ask the visa office to consider them
