Sponsor guarantee while receiving cash for life (disability)

If I live on disability from government ( say Ontario Disability Support) and I sponsor my spouse into Canada and we split in less then 3 years and then my spouse collects welfare, I am responsible to repay the government. But I live on disability, so are they going to garnishee my cheque ? How do they get blood out of a stone :-\ ?

Dont worry leave that to the government even if you die the government will take their rightful share

Judging by other well publicised cases, they *will* come after you for their pound of flesh.
Seriously, if you even suspect that the relationship will fail, you should not be taking the chance. It could ruin your life as well as your finances.

Doesn't matter they always get their money no matter and they WILL garnish your check in any way they can... Please don't make a step that you will be sorry for.
