Hi All
pls any one tell me if a person living out side canada more then five years so she or he have to submit option C? if yes where can we find this and second is who is co singner?
my sponsor wife had submitted her incom tac 2012 with all four years now she have to submit option C with her sponsor ship application? we are not living in Canada.

I'm wondering about this myself too. I haven't worked or lived in Canada for the past 2 years.

Do I need to send in an "Option C Printout" as well? I think it'll take a while until it gets here after I request it.

CIC requires it for reasons other than showing taxable income. Call CRA and request it. They will mail it to you and it will take about a month to arrive if you're overseas.

i lived outside Canada for 2 years and submitted my application without it. I just explained in a letter why i don't have one and that i did not work while i was away from Canada. and thank god i was approved.

If you haven't filed a income tax return in the last year or two you won't get an option c .Its your net income and gross income from taxes that was filed in the previous year. If you worked outside of Canada send them that information .If you didn't work you will have to provide documentation of how you are going to support your spouse when he/she arrives in Canada .

thanks but we pay tax and already got option c .

If you haven't filed in a while the option C will just show your last filing.
