Sponsor changing jobs. Need to notify CIC or not?

My husband (the sponsor) will be leaving his current job soon and will immediately start working at a different job. He already handed his resignation letter earlier this week. Does he need to notify CIC about this change or is that not necessary?

Have you already sent your sponsorship pack in the CPC Mississauga? If so, then no, no need to tell them.
