Hi Folks,

I have a concern, i just submitted my application to sponsor my wife, I am a Canadian citizen & have permanent full time job. I already submitted a letter from my current employer but today I got a job offer & this is much better no doubt. My only concern is if I change my job during my application process will it create any problem with my application? If that's the case I will refuse new offer because bringing my wife in Canada is more important for me & really don't want to delay the process. FYI I haven't reveived AOR yet as I submitted my application last week. Any suggestion would be appreciated, I am interested for the new job because once she gets here then I can give her better support until she finds what she loves to do.

My opinion is to take and the new job and inform immigration dept. ASAP, but it won't affect your sponsorship too much because the requirement for your income is to secure the sponsored person will not go for social assistance.
