sponser my wife

I have the PR status in canada and i was out of canada for long time now i came back to Canada and my PR will expire on march 2016 that means i will not accumulate 2 years of residency in canada befor the expiration of my PR card now my wife came with me as student I still don`t have a work but have some credit in my account I wonder if i can sponsor my wife ? and if I make this request i will lose my PR status as i didn`t respect the 2 years of presence in Canada ???

No - you can't sponsor your wife now. You will have to wait until you meet the residency obligation before you can submit a sponsorship application for her.

If you apply now, her application will be refused since you don't meet the residency obligation and this may cause CIC to start the process of investigating or even revoking your PR status.

You need to wait until you meet the 730 day requirement.

as my wife has Bachelors Degree in information technology it is better that she applies for a master that may be will increase her chance to be accepted as immigrant skilled worker
