My wife was unable to sponcor her 21 yo because the he was over 19 at the time we processed her application. She now has her PR and we are wanting to apply to sponsor him because the rules changed to under 22.

I am getting mixed reviews. I am told that we cant apply because at the time my wifes application was received he was over 19 so he is locked into the rules at that time?

Help Please.

Thanks in advance

You can apply. Just make sure it's before he turns 22 so his age is locked in at 21.

OK thanks He will be 22 in dec this year. I was concerned because I was told that if my wifes application for her pr was before oct 24 he would not be eligible. I guess it all depends how you read the questions.

Read the conditions in link I posted, to ensure he would qualify today.
