My father's name has been mentioned with different spellings in different documents.

Father's Passport: Yashpaal raju
Father's Aadhaar: Yashplraj
Father's Voters ID: Yashpalraj
Father's PAN: Yashpal raju

Surname is my passport and all other documents: Yashpalraj

Does my fathers spelling in my document and his documents have to be same? Or do I keep same spelling in all my documents even if the spelling is different from my father's original spelling because its very difficult to change spellings in so many documents?

My father is also trying to match/correct his name on all documents.

I'd suggest going with the passport spelling, and include a brief note in your application explaining the situation (much like you've done here).

There may be an official protocol that applies here, but I'm not sure.

No, The name in his passport is listed in the application.
Any update on your application?
My Case is similar
My Father's name in My passport & all my education certificate: Mohammed Mustaq Azher
My father's name in his passport & all his other legal documents: Mohammed Mushtaq Azher.

I am using his bank statement and CA net worth to support my financial for education purpose. Many suggested me to attach the Same name affidavit.
I want to know what you have done
