spelling mistake in PPR and COPR

Hello all,

i received my stamped passport and COPR for all my family members yesterday. my daughter's name is misspelt in both PPR and COPR. (they have not even checked the passport before issuing the visa) i have sent a mail to new delhi visa office intimating the same.

has anyone gone through this? what is the procedure to rectify this? how long would it take? any inputs will be appreciated.

Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5218ETOC.asp#apply. You can get these errors amended.

thanks for the link, the link mentions procedure for COPR but what about visa? her name is misspelt in visa also.

the page also mentions it is for permanent residents or citizens. am i already a permanent resident? i have not landed still in Canada.
