Really no way to speed up application unless you have certified job offer. If you feel comfortable with the process you can do it yourself or hire a Canadian Immigration Lawyer. If you hire a consultant insure that they are a member of CSIC see: http://www.csic-scci.ca/indexE.html or CIC won't deal with them.

There is one way to shorten the length of time and that is to pay upfront the entire amount for the immigration process. Its saves time on both sides and if you are rejected ..less the initial fee for examining your application. You can save up to 6mos of time.

Also make sure your application is in perfect order, no mistakes. All documents required be copied and notarized by a notary public which is less expensive. I always reccomend that original birth certificate and Marriage documents, death certificates..that originals be sent, as they will probably be asked for anyway. Always keep a ceritified copy for your self or u can order other originals.

Once you have everything done..just go see a consultant which will be less expensive than a lawyer, have the consultant verify if all is in order and pay the fee. Its worth it.

Always keep a copy of your application..very important and all of what you sent. If something should happen you have all your papers with you and this way save time.

There is a new law that consultants have to be approved as he said. So make very sure the consultant is on the list..if not then most likely he or she is a fraud. If they are not on the list or dont have a liscence on the wall and look at the date if it is in vigor or not. There are still some taking in people and they end up having paid money and the consultant has moved on.

hi jo:

where did you get processing timeline for india as 24 months? can you provide me with a link.

Jo:

Remember a lawyer is different from a consultant. A consultant need not have a law degree and therefore they are more affordable than lawyers. A properly filed application always speeds up the process, regardless of who makes it - the applicant, the lawyer or the consultant. None of them can guarantee success.

A lawyer or consultant who promises success is a crook!

Hi friends by reading this forum I can come to know, processing to Canada PR is not tough.

This is the common question for new comers can I take consultant? Or can do my self? The answer is doing it your self by experts
.
Why expert can do a nice Flow chart for this process? That can be easy for new comers , even you can attached a sample copy of each document , so that it will be crystal clear to fill application for new.
