so i would like to apply for a visitor visa and i'm an international student on a f1 visa in the US right now. some things i would like to know:
1) can my sister (who lives in Canada) be my sponsor? she is my host as well. but as a student, i cannot show a huge amount of cash in my bank account. should i include her financial details then? generally, she is also my primary source of funds (if i need it, other than that i am financially independent)
2) since i am a student, how much money should i show in my bank account? i read somewhere that if i stay one week, i should have atleast 1000 CAD. but as a student who is dependent on her sister, how much do i really have to show?
3)what could i add to my application to strengthen it? I got rejected once, they said they didnt believe that I would return to the US. and my purpose of visit. but last time my application was quite sloppy and informal. what should i do this time?

-enrollment verification letter from my college
-employment verification letter from my workplace
-my bank statement
-my host's bank statements and employment letter
-invitation letter
-scanned ticket
-financial aid/scholarship details from my college, proof of payment of tuition, acceptance letter
