I am not giving you just hope that's fact, because I went thru big big stress, only the reason is delaying your passport is they are not getting clearance from security, it doesn't mean something wrong purposely they take long enough time because they provide security clearance to the embassy with quotas and believe me when your time will come embassy will send your passport immediately and yes if your medical expire they will request you to renew it, but they will request you after once they receive clearance, once they request you for new medicals within 3 weeks they issue you visa trust me. Please note I am sending you this message please relax don't request them your passport back because embassy never ever keep your passport without any reason, enjoy in your country once you come to Canada its very very hard life I am working in night shift right now and remember my days when I was just stress about my case and didn't enjoy anything, but Thanks for Allah for every moment.
