Hi I applied for my husband’s sowp. But we get refusal . They said that we are not satisfied you answer to questions sec 2 b …. Actually he applied for his tourist visa in 2017 . But he said to agent to withdraw his application. But agent didn’t. We was in misunderstanding that he never got refusal or never applied for canada . But when we investigated we found that the reason behind refusal for sowp is that tourist visa. Now i applied for caips notes . So i want to confirm that we have to wait for caips not or we can reapply now coz my study left for 6 months. We dont have much time. And i really need him here

Did he get procedural fairness letter with a ban? If not and you think the only reason for refusal is that then go ahead.

They said you are welcome to reapply
It always states that. Without knowing the full wording, does the letter state anywhere a ban of 5 years or asks you to respond to the letter about why you didn’t reveal a past application?

this is the refusal letter
I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents you
have submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA.
Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful: The applicant has
answered "no" to statutory question 2(b) on IMM form 1295
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.

So reapply and state the refusal.
