My husband is from Morocco and I am currently a master student in the university of alberta started in Jnauary 2019. My husband applied for his Spousal visa with open work permit (SOWP) to come and stay with me in canada while i study.
He has been waiting for 15 weeks so far and they have not even asked for a medical check up request or send any updates to his account. He submitted his biometrics on the 26th of december 2018. And currently still waiting for some

Was wondering if anyone knows what is the normal steps after this and the time frame for that?
Fyi, he is in Morocco now so his application is processed in Rabat canadian embassy and processing time was showing to be recently for 14 weeks.
I wonder whats going on and why its taking so long. We asked through the webform if there were any issues and they said the application is complete and its still in process. Thank you for your patience. Thats all. Its really frustrating when the answers are just generic and not very informative
