SOWP for IT professional

Hi All,

I am on ICT and my wife who is with me here in Canada is also an IT professional but is currently on leave in her company. She has come here on a visitor visa. I have applied for her OWP (online application) on 5th July. But not sure how long will it take to get a response.

Is there a chance of applying directly to IT companies here in Canada? Will they call her for interviews and once she clears it, will they apply for LCA/OWP for her? What are the odds?

Has anyone done this before?

Your question is confusing.

I don't know what an LCA is. Do you mean an LMIA?

Companies won't apply for an OWP for your wife - this is something she must do (and it sounds like you've already done).
