Yes. She is waiting for PGWP and if approved will get PGWP for 3 years. Am I eligible to apply with that? Recent rule says she needs to have PGWP valid for atleast 16 months
It is possible but if only a 4 month job then may not even get approval by the time job is finished.

Hi All, With regard to the earlier conversation - I have a follow-up question.
For spouse to be eligible you must be employed with job letter and paystubs. Did you permits expire November 2024?
Hi, Here's an update - I have applied for PGWP and waiting for permit. I am currently working in a full-time internship (TEER 1) which is paid in the form of stocks and my org do provide stocks allocation letter for the work did and my wife is working in a TEER 1 full time role as well. My question is, can i use my internship employment to file SOWP extension for my wife?. When i googled this, it says i can use my internship details as it is full time to file sowp extension. Also, the new rules in IRCC says, the PGWP holder should be employed in TEER 1 but didn't specified anything about internship or permanent, contract positions. I would like to have your suggestions before proceeding. Thanks all.

Include job letter with pay stubs.

Can i file sowp extension with, my internship offer letter, stocks paystub and my wife's offer letter, payslips?
Your wife's job is not relevant. It is you as the PGWP holder that must be eligible. Do you get T4? The issue is that if you don't get paid and have CPP/EI/taxes deducted then you may be considered self employer. Submit what you have a wait for response.

yeah, my concern is since i am paid in stocks, i will not be able to get a T4. That's where i am struck.
So your spouse applies for SOWP based on your job letter and stock payments. Hopefully approved. You know that your work experience will not be counted as Canadian experience because you need to be an employee with paystubs and T4.

Correct !! As of now, we were only focusing on getting her work permit extension as our permits gonna expire in coming November.
