SOWP (application status tracker)

G’day!

SOWP application was placed on 29.12.2023 after SP’s approval (Oct 23) for Master degree program (there was another PPR in Mar 24 due to deferral) and before kid’s TRV approval (Feb 24).

POF shown: 62 K cad,
First yr tuition fee: ~24K cad (fall 24 intake)
Daycare service for the kid: secured,
Current processing times: 25 weeks (the application is at the 22nd week)

In application status tracker SOWP file has been getting updated constantly (3 times in May), eligibility review is on since the beg. of May, however as of today, no medical request nor rejection letter’s been sent.

1. How long after eligibility review starts, SOWP application might be given a decision?
2. Is there might be any reason to reject SOWP application with above specs?

1. Cannot tell you. Each application is different. Processing times are estimates when most, not all are processed.
2. Yes. But if taking a Masters you have a high chance of approval.
