Hi folks, one quick question.
My husband just received his port of entry letter for his study permit (yay!). We applied together. Now we have to wait for my port of entry letter for my SOPW.
Because we received a POE letter, (not sure if it has to do anything with it but we are in Europe), I think we are not supposed to send passports anywhere for a visa stamp, I think we are just supposed to arrive in Canada with our POE letters and we'll obtain our visas right there in the moment, right? Can someone confirm or link to a page where it explains the process?
So here is my problem. The passport that I applied with for the SOWP is about to expire so I obtained a new passport. I have just uploaded the new passport through the webform. Does anyone know what will happen now? Will they likely send me a POE letter that has my new passport/expiration date, so that the work permit that I obtain at the border has the new expiration date?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
