oh shit ! my agent told it is not required if there is no gap and if it is after+2 means my visa will be refused

No its not necessary that its going to be refused but the point of SOP isn't just to explain the gap you are also needed to explain why you want to go canada and why do you want to study the courses you have applied for who will be your sponsor? If anyone other than your parents are sponsoring you why are they doing so and how will you be funded? These things need to be explained in detail when writing an SOP its literally the most important thing during the application how did your agent say that it wasn't required? And what do you mean by +2?are you referring to 2 months gap in studies?

i dont know what will happen now i m so tensed . there is no gap i am talking about my post secondary (+2). i dont know why my agent said this seriously !!

There is no reason to panic though a friend of mine did the same and he got a message in his account asking for a 1 page explanation of all the things i mentioned how long has it been since you have applied??

Any updates yet on your account? Did your eligibility review start yet? If yes then i guess they dont need your SOP but it would have been to upload it anyway no idea why would your consultant say that its not required

Well thats good sign your application is moving forward dont lose hope if your profile is strong enough you will get the approval i applied on 22 Nov and my review has already started so we are kind of in the same boat here

It is definitely required to convince the visa office why you are studying a particular program, your future plan and what will motivate you to leave Canada after studies.
