The “Information Revolution” and the dramatic advances in telecommunications technology, which has made this possible, currently drive the global economy in large part. As wireless networks become more advanced and far-reaching, we are redefining the notion of connectivity and the possibilities of communications technology. This is what inspired my interest in Wireless Networking and motivated me to opt for post graduate diploma in wireless networking in order to develop my understanding regarding the networking system and gain the real life skills from the best companies in Canada.

ACADEMICS

I have always been curious and inquisitive, bagged with a string of questions for my teachers and trying to learn things with experimentation. My school and family inculcated this zeal in me which augmented with time. My schooling revealed my keen interest for Sciences and Mathematics, and my unvarying academic performances in securing 90% in my 10th standard. Having finished my secondary with a good performance in the school, I set out in search of my further course of study with the guidance of my parents. I decided to join the field of M.P.C. (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) for my higher secondary and secured 95% in my 12th standard. As part of curriculum, I have participated in the project “waste management” which helped me develop my presentation skills.

I started my under graduation in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Guwahati) which is one of the India’s top most college in Electrical Engineering. I successfully excelled in studies during first two years. Due to health issues, I had frequently taken brakes in studies. As per the University norms, due to taking too many breaks in studies, I had to discontinue my studies in university. So, I have applied for credit transfer to North East Frontier Technical University to complete my degree in Electrical Engineering. Then, I worked hard to excel in my studies and I completed my degree with 6.63 CPI.I also achieved a score of 7.5 out of 9.0 in IELTS with reading and listening score above 8.0.

During my under graduation, I participated in project “SMART HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT WITH INTEGRATION OF PV AND STORAGE FACILITIES” and published paper in 2013 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting. During this project, I had noticed my interest in network systems. Consequently, I developed an interest in wireless networking which is a fastest and upcoming sector. After completion of Engineering, I worked for Serve IT Solutions as Software Design Engineer and I used to troubleshoot product software and applications, used TCP/IP pr . During the product designing as part of my job, I researched and learnt online on different topics such as firewall and IPS, in addition to Security technologies like VPN, encrypting passwords to increase my prospects in designing. This interest in networking topics resulted in my choice of opting for post-graduation diploma in wireless networking at Lambton College. As for my choice of Lambton College, it is one of top colleges in Canada which offers new programs, improved lab and classroom opportunities. Programs are designed to prepare student for employment and professional designations. This program “Wireless Networking” provides courses regarding emerging network technologies, advanced network protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and network security issues whose course content is updated for every edition to cover cutting edge solutions and new trends in wireless market. This will be very helpful for me to compete and excel in this evolving field. This program also includes co-op semester of four months where students can gain Canadian fulltime work experience before graduation

My future goal is to excel in my field of interest with the intention of building my professional credentials with every course and future assignment I take. I am sure that a dedicated study in wireless network will enable me to aggregate all my knowledge and experience and also let me in achieve my goal. Hence, after completing my course I am confident that I will easily get a suitable job in leading IT organizations in India. At the end, my only goal is to be a successful and dynamic professional in near future.

My tuition fee is 26,040 CAD of which 16,760 CAD as first year tuition fee is paid by me. I have also deposited 10,000 CAD in SBI Canada’s Student GIC Program to cover my first year living expenses. I have also attached my educational loan (43,877 CAD) sanction letter that is sanctioned for my 2 years of post-graduate diploma study at Lambton College to cover my remaining expenses and tuition fees.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope that you will find all my documents in proper order and I kindly request you to process my visa application as soon as possible which really helps me to seek knowledge in your esteemed country. I am very much thankful to you for giving me your valuable time to process my student visa application.

Sincerely,

I'm guessing you want feedback on this? Well, here it goes: This is too laborious to read. Simplify the grammar and use common words to express yourself - this is a SOP not a dissertation. Make it more sincere.

You didn't say much about why you want to study this course in Canada instead of your home country or anywhere else.

If I were you, I wouldn't mention your health issues as a deterrent to your study as it might work against you.

I really can't say. Unless you can elaborate on your health issues in the SOP and provide solid proof that issues are resolved, I'll suggest you think of another explanation (lack of funds, family crisis etc).
