Soon to expire H1B

My H1B is soon expiring (Sept 3rd). We had medicals done, submitted clearances, proof of funds and paid gov't fees just this week. We decided not to renew our visas here in the US... as we'll just wait for PP request and then leave. My question is... we still wanted to visit our families and fiends here in the US sometime in the future... if we overstay in the US couple months, would it be difficult to get Visit Visa to US while holding a Canadian PR?

A Canadian PR doesn't give you an advantage in applying to visit the U.S. Your application will depend on which country you came from and your ties to that country (or ties to Canada when you have the PR).

Please don't overstay your visa if you ever want to go back to the U.S.
