My son is an Indian Citizen. I and my wife are PR holders. My son's PR under family sponsorship is in progress. Submitted back in Jan 2026. He entered Canada on visitor visa in July 2026 and it is expiring on Jan 4th 2027. I am applying for his visitor visa record. Can I apply to extend his stay for more than 6 months as I am yet to hear on his Permanent Residence application? Or should I apply only for less than 6 months? Can you pls clarify?
