1 of the items they require is a passport entry/exit date when he was conceived.

well I figured I had no reason to keep an expired passport so I ditched it.

Wouldn't they have all the dates I travelled there available to them?

Do you think this will be a major issue?

My guess is that they use this to support the assertion of paternity. In the absence of supporting documents or other evidence, they might demand a DNA test. I assume that would not be a "major issue".

Canada, like the US, doesn't have Exit controls unlike most countries. Are you able to find your boarding passes or airline reservations? That could help. Otherwise, yeah, you might be on the hook for a DNA test.
