Someone applied for a Canadian study permit for me without my knowledge!

Hi,

I had contacted someone to apply Canadian Study permit for me. I provided them some of my documents and yet to provide other documents.

I doubted him for some reasons and asked him to not apply for the visa and he agreed that. But today he applied for the study permit for me without my knowledge. I have the application number with me.

I do not know what information he mentioned about me in the Study Permit Application, Family Information form and the covering letter.

Moreover yesterday I had renewed my passport and the old passport was was cancelled yesterday. I might receive the new passport soon. But he applied for the study permit today and mentioned my old passport details in the application.

To summarise, he applied for my study permit without my knowledge. I asked him to withdraw the application. I still do not believe if he would withdraw the application. Can I request IRCC and withdraw this application so that I could apply freshly by mentioning all the details correctly?

So basically he did it for free, right? Or he did not make payment - Expect the application to returned incomplete.

I think he paid the application fee; he sent me the application number.
I raised a webform to withdraw this application. Hoping for a positive response from the IRCC.

Hope he didn't charge you and did it for free.
