Hi,

Please somebody tell me if somebody is having just one year experience in last ten years having less chances of getting approved, I am bit worried, my wife is a medical doctor having just one year of experience.

Please share your views.

Thanks.

No its not like that , because cic said you have at least one year experience to apply for immigration. If you have sufficient score with one year experience then go for that.its not on the cic site that with one year experience your file will not treat on priority basis.
So don't worry just go for it, if your occupation is in 29 priority list.

Good luck

As long as you fulfil the minimum criteria it makes no difference if you have 1 year's experience of 10 year's experience. If you are eligible, you are eligible.

However, for borderline cases (i.e. perhaps if you only have done 40% to 50% of the duties on the list) I suspect they might look more favourably on those with more experience before making a final eligibility decision. Certain areas of the eligibility like % of duties performed are left to the discretion of the immigration officer performing the eligibility review etc.

Does your wife actually have a full 365 days+ of experience? They are quite picky and if it's "almost" a year but not quite a full year, then they may fail you.
