I had applied for Social Science DEC in TAV College, Montreal. My intake was supposed to start on 3rd February. However, my loan got sanctioned on 23rd January and I applied for the visa on 31st January. Yesterday I have received the rejection letter from CPC Ottawa stating the following two reasons:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• Given the applicant's previous education and/or employment history, I am not satisfied that the motivation to pursue this particular program at this point in time in Canada is reasonable. Refused under R216(1)(b).
Now what I am not getting is that is this is a coverup reason because I was late to apply or really they aren't convinced about those two reasons?
I had written an SOP stating why I wanted to pursue that program, guess should go for more details this time.
I could really use some insights from people who have had any such past experiences.
