Some confusion about sending passport

Hi my husband going to apply for the sponsor through the outland route while me (applicant) being in canada .so if they ask for the passport nd i send it from canada where the VO will send the passport back? Will that be to my home country or to my current address which is in canada .. ? Also if i need an interview..i have to go bck to my country ..at that time where they will send bck the passport ?

if you require an interview, the interview will be held at the visa office in your country of citizenship.

when it comes time for the passport request, the request letter will include instructions for sending in your passport if you are currently in canada. you will not need to send it to your home country or leave canada to submit your passport. this is a non issue.
