Which way is better through some agent or on our own through CIC website.

What r the main hurdels which come on way on this whole process.
 
Don't waste money on agents when all they will do is simply advice, which you can get it for free on this forum.
 
I agree with sushsmart1 , but at the same time you have to do your homework, which is reviewing the CIC website to know all details and requirments, then this forum. Always take notes.

you fill find step bu step instructions somewhere on the forum and when you have any questions, you will find a lot of helpful & kind people to help you.

Take the first step, do the effort and Good Luck.

It is not that complicated as some people may think.

In fact, you do not need a consultant/agent to help you, the whole process is quite straight forward and forums like these are very helpful. The collective knowledge and awareness of the members on this forum far exceeds that of the consultants. In fact, some of the consultants get their answers from forums like these. If I were you, I would instead use that money for my nomination and other migration related fees.

If you follow this forum, you will be in a position to do everything on your own. Most of your questions would already have been answered by many experienced people on this forum and still if you feel that there is a blocker, post your question here, I am sure, people will be more than willing to help you. In the end the decision is yours, if you have the money and willing to hire an agent, you can go ahead. But after everything is done, you will feel, you paid them to you tell you things which are easily available on CIC, OINP sites, forums like these etc.

Do it on your own. Dont waste money on consultants.
 
I would say the initial steps you can do it on your own with the help from people from this forum (such as EE profile creation, job bank registration, getting PCCs, etc). Once you have ITA, prepare all your documents, before you finally submit it, maybe hire a lawyer to go through all of them.

That's what I think I will do if I get an ITA...
 
I would suggest to do it on your own, The process is simple and if any info needed you can get easily on this forum or google.

I disagree that forum is competely helpful.

1. IF you have time to go through forum day and night and you are free than its fine.
2. You might get different opinion at time and you may not get the advise immediately sometimes.
3. Forums are not lifetime. ( If after 6 months yo dont find this forum at all?)

I suggest if you can afford an Agent ( if you are working ) please go for an Agent

This forum acts as a catalyst.

No agent is perfect but he can perform the duties on your behalf like uploading your documents and sending mails. They keep perfect documented copies with them for future.

Please take a decision looking to prose and contxt of both sides.
