Read through the individual NOC duties and identify the one that closely matches what you need at work. Good luck.

2283-Analyst
Only if you are Quality Analyst and your job description matches
2171 if you’re a tester and again if your job description matches.

Tester and quality analysts job responsibilities are different.

Hi All,

I need help in selecting the NOC code for Software Testing / QA professional based upon my roles and responsibilities given below.

I am a Test Lead having 9 yrs of Software Testing - Manual Testing experience. I also have 3 yrs of Peoplesoft HCM Testing in these 9 Yrs. I do not have any automation experience only Manual and ERP knowledge.

My Roles and Responsibilities are as follows:
1. Analyse the BRD and FRD and prepare the RTM. Conduct Meetings with Stakeholders if we are struck at any point of time in regards to the requirements and then clear the requirements and close the queries
2. Then prepare the scenarios as per the BRD and FRD.
3. Conduct the Test Execution process for the finalized scenarios in that release.
4. Also monitor the team of 20 members testing activities and report to the stakeholders along with my senior management about the Test Execution Progress
5. Conduct Team meetings and organize the work accordingly.

Thanks & Regards,

I am on the same boat. Which NOC code have you selected ?

I'm facing the same issue. Job duties for the three NOC codes are very similar. I've been QA Engineer in Software Dept. for 6 years and I've chosen NOC 2173. But I'm worried it is not correct.

Any input from others? What NOC code have you chosen and were you approved?
