I did a soft landing in April 2019, got my SIN number and card and had to come back in May 2019 due to a family exigency. I had opened up a Savings account in Canada with CIBC (with interests on my deposit that I had done) and taken a credit card too. Since I will not be able to return back, this year as well, and am currently working and earning income in a job in India, do I need to file a tax return for 2019?
