Thanks, I intend to get my list once only but does it have to be first time while soft landing or anytime later?

By definition, a 'soft landing' is where you 'land to declare PR' ONLY. So you do NOT plan to also 'land as settler' (i.e. land for good). Use these phrases when speaking to the CBSA agents as they should understand them. You need to do your GTA / GTF lists when you 'land as settler'.

Also, is there any minimum amount of cash I must take along for soft landing formalities? I will have some money in forex card but should I must carry cash as well?

No. You might want a bit of cash to pay for Timmies though!​
