So I guess PNP process is dead at the moment?

This is purely my opinion from facts that were delivered from forum members.



Somebody in previous topic mentioned that CIC working force is concentrating on FSW since july and that's why FSW processing time got so much faster and
PNP applications has no progress on DM/PPR... (it seems there are couple DMs in early August but it sounds really rare)

FSW is now taking like 5months only to complete the process...

then what about rest of PNP applicants just waiting to finish all process in this year..
I really wish that they just distribute workfoce in balance and process all economic streams at the same time..


My expectation is they would start working on PNP from October...................

p.s it's confirmed that there is no such thing as "quota" in CIC application... whoever said this

it seems the applications for FWS have dropped 70% or so when compared to 2012's
may be that's causing the faster processing.

Its seems like they are more interseted for FSW than pnp.
Yes Applicant of FSW is all degree holder like m.sc,Phd etc.
I think cic will fill there quota with FSW AND if something left over
That will be for us.
I am waiting for pr since sep 25 2012.
Almost 2years since i applied pnp inland applicant.
Dissopointed a lot in these day.

what we can hope for best is

1 ) they finish their work on FSW at least by October



2 ) they take care of the people who got IP and realistically have time to complete the process in year of 2014..
maybe all those people who got IP around October or so.. (simply batch out all the PPR for those who already got DM...)
but I understand document processing time (in process) is different from case by case so it's really hard to predict what their plan is...

BUT I don't think they are going just give up on PNP from the middle of the year (from July), simply because I don't think they already have fulfilled the "target number of application in PNP" by July in the year of 2014.
so I am pretty sure we will see some movement on PNP around October.
and they are keep on letting people into IP even now.. if they would have stopped working on PNP stream.. they wouldn't need to make applications into "in process" at all..


that's my expectation and hope......
