Hi
Actually I am very confused right. presently I am living in Ontario.working as a pizza cook as I am having one year of full time exprience in this field.I am wondering whether I am able to apply in international skilled worker category or not, if I got a job letter from saskatchewan employer. I m confused rite now. Is anybody can help me in this matter. There is also a another question that if I move to Regina next week. Hopefully if I got the job there within a month and employer is willing to do a job approval soon. Then can I apply after 2 months if job or not. Or I have to work 6 month in saskatchewan then can I apply. One more question is there any wage requirement for pizza cook also or not

Hi,

International skilled worker category is for those who got job offer in an occupation NOC code 0 A or B or in a designated trade in saskatchewan. Since cook is a designated trade occupation in saskatchewan according to this link http://www.saskapprenticeship.ca/designated-trades/. You can apply thru international skilled if you got a job offer from an employer. The employer must apply for a job approval which stated your wage. Your wage offer must meet canadian standard for that occupation, you can check jobbank then enter your NOC code to see the median wage for your occupation. See this link http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/Immigration/checklist-hiring-recruiting for requirements on getting a job approval.

Best of luck

your NOC code is 6322 under skill leve B and you don't have to get a license since your occupation is not regulated in saskatchewan. As long as you have the job offer and job approval, education credentials, work experience you are good to go :D
