Hey,

I live in Canada on student visa and I'm married to a Canadian citizen. I'm preparing to apply under spousal sponsorship, I'm thinking of applying outland.

1- I'm from and have lived in Lebanon before I came to Canada three years ago, In case of outland application, can I apply under a third country office, like under the US office?

2- In case they ask for interview, do we do the interview in Canada or we have to travel to the country under which we applied ( Lebanon most probably in my case) ?

If we have to do the interview in Lebanon, do they require both of us to be present there or just the sponsored?

Many Thanks :)))

1) You do not get to choose the VO. It usually goes to the office responsible for your nationality, although CIC can also choose to send it to the office responsible for where you are legally residing.

2) The interview will be in your home country, or at the visa office responsible for that location.

3) Only the principal applicant is required to attend, although there have been rare cases where the sponsor was also asked to attend.
