skilled worker work experience 1 or 2 years?

Hi,

I think I saw some posts said skilled worker need 2 years of work experience. But I think the CIC says 1 year.
So is it 1 year or 2 years? beacuse I am confused. Thanks.

CIC require at least 1 year work experience under 38 category.

I think you are mixing up CEC and the skilled worker program.

If you apply under the skilled worker program, you need at least 1 year of skilled work experience. If you are applying under the list of 38 (category 1), it needs to be in one of the 38 professions.

If you are applying under CEC, you need two years of skilled work experience in Canada.

your FSW exp is minimum for 1 year requires to appply in FSW NOC category.if you have more then 1 year of exp.its good for you.you will get extra point for exp.

if you hvae 4 years of exp as per NOC of 38 listed.you will get full 21 points.

but for eligbile for FSW.you must have minimum 1 year exp in last 10 years.
