Hello,

I do have a question - currently, I'm scoring 65 points in total, just a quick question for you guys - do you think I still can apply go thru without 67 if so what are the chances and for how long would I need to wait an answer if I'm eligible or not.
By the way people were saying that from July 1st they will decrease some points... Any ideas should I wait or just apply ?

It doesn't seem like a good idea to apply if you don't believe you can meet the pass mark. Besides the fact that the pass mark is a *minimum* requirement. If any of your docs are insufficient/questionable, the CIC could rate your points even lower than your estimate.

Where are you scoring low? With an AEO, you get a significant 15 point bump. But keep in mind that you must have one year of experience in Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) no matter what. Typically, that means you would have high education / language points anyways.

If you got an genuine AEO, couldn't you get a work permit first? That could open the door to Canadian Experience Class and also gain points on adaptability for the FSW.

I'm scoring a low points in my English test, but I'm willing to take it again and make it 67 points sooner or later. Seems like new changes scares me a bit after July 1st.

How about Canadian Experience Class ? Will they make it only with 1 year work experience now ? Do you still need to do an English test ? How many points do you need to score ? I work in trades.

Also, what does it FSW stands for ?

I do have another question about my daughter's work permit:

I'm a temporary worker at this moment willing to apply for a PR soon, also in the mean time my and my families work permits will be expired soon, so I do have a question about my older daughter she will become 21 years old soon, so do you guys think she will still get an open work permit? Should I apply before or after she turns 21 Also, if so ... for how long she will get it ? Because my new LMO is 2 years now, so I will get a permit for 2 years and how about her ?
