Skilled jobs after getring PR through EE

I lived in Canada for 5 years and moved back because I couldn'd find work in IT field. When I was job hunting I found out that there were very few jobs in engineering and management.
After today's draw, I was thinking how new immigrants are going to find work in their respective field.

but you got an ITA on 5th april.
so you do see value in getting back to canada.

There is apparently very high demand for IT people in Ontario (GTA)... But research is necessary!

You need to see where your NOC is in demand and make sure you hold the required credentials and certifications to get a job.

u have 5 years of experience and couldnt find IT job thats strange. If you know how to look for a job there are plenty of IT jobs thats my understanding

I think there is a lot he is not telling us. He was in canada and could not find a job. yet he is applying again and apparently he has also got ITA.
I think he is just trolling us.

I have B.Eng in IT from India,
than moved to canada and completed diploma in computer systems techincian.
I ended up working there as food service supervisor
I moved back to India when I was about to get AINP in 6-8months max and I still had 5months left on my PGWP.
I am currently working as web developer in India but still not making money as much as I used to make in Canada. That is why I applied in EE. I got ITA and I declined it with fear of not getting IT job in Canada and spending rest of my life in Food industry. Now I am having second thoughts about it. I have been feeling that money is everything nowadays. I can not afford a car or save enough for future on my current IT job. So I am choosing earning (enough for my kid, my wife, myself and future) over career in IT.
Just to you know, I am not some genius or geek but I consider my self above average when It comes to IT.

I am not saying I won't try to find a job in IT if I move back to Canada.

I think you're unlucky, that's all. I've heard of plenty of people from brasil who headed up to Canada and found IT jobs with relative easy. You must be persistent though, just because you don't do well in one interview does not mean you should give up..

I do lack a quality of being persistent. I think I was unlucky too. I did not have any experience to show for at that time. Now I do have experience as well as A+ and N+ certifications, that is pushing me to try again.
