I'm a University student in Canada. I've finished my studies and have convocation in October. I want to invite my parents and sister. My sister is actually 27 years old, unmarried. She lives with my parents in the same address. She is working in a MNC in India for about 4 years and she does not have any plans to settle in Canada. But I would like to invite her for few days for convocation and that way she can visit to Canada. But I've heard that she cannot get Visa because she's above 21, so she is not dependant now. I have no idea about that. So, should I apply visitor Visa for her for convocation? In case if I apply, will it be approved? Please let me know if anybody knows. Thank you.

Your sister and your parents will need to apply for a temporary resident visa.
She will need to apply separately from your parents. Both your parents and your sister will need to prove that they are coming just to visit, have strong ties with their home country and will return.

This section is for sponsorship programs (when family members are coming to Canada to stay) this is why age of the children is discussed.

In your case your sister's age is irrelevant.
