Hi.. I'm Dr. Zaman... My bachelor is MBBS... I can't understand in which NOC category(OID) my profession will match?? Thanks in advance...

GP but working as a lecturer Anatomy in a medical college....
So your NOC is....physician or lecturer. You cannot work as a physician in Canada and physicians are on the ineligible list in Saskatchewan. What is your SINP score?

Your NOC has to match your education so if you can prove it then, yes. Check if your NOC isn’t on the ineligible list. since you aren’t a practicing physician & applying as a lecturer, you don’t have to have your degree assessed by the medical council of Canada. Are you applying through express entry & do you have family in the province? Are your SINP points high enough for an invitation?

Yes... My brother in law is staying Suskachewan through PR...I want to apply through OID... SINP points match... Do you know whether WES gives Master’s equivalency of MBBS degree????

You will have to ask WES. If not, you have to go through the medical council of Canada and they will match it to a physician not a lecturer. Even SINP, may see your NOC as a GP.

I gave you incorrect advice. Only MCC (a professional body) can assess a medical degree to the Canadian equivalency. So if you need points a professional degree only MCC can do it.

Thanks for your informations.... But I came to know that I could apply through university lecturer as my profession (NOC- 4011)... So I have to do ECA under WES.... What's your opinion????

Do you need the points for a professional degree? If not try WES but they will not assess it as a professional degree so less points.
